Damien Exhibit

Damien Display

Damien's Feast Day on May 10th 2013 saw the blessing of a new display dedicated to Saint Damien at our Sacred Heart Church, Sruleen, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.    'In the Footsteps of Saint Damien" comprises 12 displays with  accompanying prayers that traces Damien's life from Infancy to Canonisation.  The final display is adjacent to a first class relic of Damien that came from Molokai and was generously given to us by our bothers in the Hawaiian Province.  You are welcome to visit the exhibit at any time if you are passing by Newlands or the Green Isle Hotel.

India Sem

tonga-largemapMeanwhile in India (another mission of the US Province) despite some minor, “to-be-expected” delays, work on the candidate formation house in Bangalore continues to move ahead. The construction is progressing well and the hoped-for completion will be even sooner than expected. It is anticipated that the new house will be officially opened on June 16, 2013.  We ask your prayers that these mission ventures may be truly blessed in the years ahead.
